I am an MA Graphic Design student in London. I did my bachelors in Fashion in my own country India. You would find a range of work extending from prints to my travel diaries here. Let me know if you like it.
I HATE DISCIPLINE! Every time when I have to break into this embarrassing run along the sidewalk just to catch my 9:49am train I realise that the cells in my brain which dictates discipline are probably on a permanent vacation. Well most of the time I am left panting on the platform looking from the clock which says 9:50am to the last coach of the train pulling out of the station. But then thankfully English language gave us more than one reassuring meaning to the word and my brain responds to the other meaning just fine.
I am from small town of a country with its population of 1.2 billion colourfully messed up people. Like other Indians I started out to become a jack of all trades before I realised that I don’t have a light year to be a master in all of them. So here I am in England trying to finish my masters. Well officially I am trying to complete my masters in graphic design and time keeping. For the first one I go to my university and for the second one I sleep till late forgetting to set my alarm everyday. Why England out of all countries? Well this country ruled us for 200 years and doesn’t bondage, dominance, submission and sadomasochism always gives you pleasure luring you to come back to it?
I did fashion in my bachelors and yes I am heterosexual and no you don’t need to have a vagina to study fashion. Fashion widened the crack in my head and I fell head over heels for the love of my life- textile prints.
